Bringing it up to date
While Britain's attention was taken up with the war, initiatives such as medical support for refugees may have received little attention. Pacifists today still seek to make their message heard and to draw attention to events that are overlooked. Peace activists continue to produce their own publications, as well as using the internet and engaging with mainstream media.
The website Waging Nonviolence (http://wagingnonviolence.org/) reports from around the world on actively nonviolent struggles for peace and justice. The British pacifist newspaper Peace News is published monthly and also runs news on its website (http://peacenews.info).
